Improving products for web and mobile platforms
Ohio-based Buyvite has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Rocket Ventures and a number of other private investors for its group payment service. The service, founded in 2011, aims to simplify the way payments are processed in group buying. The funding will be used to develop and improve Buyvite’s products for web and mobile platforms, as well as securing new partnerships. According to CEO Brandy Alexander-Wimberly the company is also set to close an additional USD500,000 in angel investments in the next few weeks.
