Point Group by VeriFone Systems is providing key payment services for the GoMcDo online mobile ordering system utilised by McDonald’s diners in France (view press release). McDonald’s selected Point’s PAYBOX Services offering to process payments for its GoMcDo pre-order service. The GoMcDo app for mobile phones utilises the PAYBOX gateway service, enabling customers to place orders and enter payment information or access stored payment information from the app, then go to the specified McDonald’s location and complete their transaction at an unattended device where they receive a ticket for fast-track food pickup.
