
Mobile banking
Maybank is launching an m-banking service in collaboration with mobile solutions company, Tagit (view press release). The bank’s mobile banking channel will allow customers to query accounts, bill payments and transfer funds online via their mobile devices. The bank m-banking app will also allow customers to perform cross-market transaction such as bill payments and funds transfers from Singapore to Malaysia. In addition, users will be able to locate Maybank’s branches, ATMs and allied networks network like ATM5, AXS and iNETS kiosks.
“Through the new app, we aim to enrich our customer’s experience with us, underscoring our vision to humanize financial services across Asia and commitment to address customers’ evolving mobile lifestyle needs,” said Lim Kuo Siang, Head of Information Technology and Virtual Banking at Maybank Singapore “The dynamic features in this mobile app created with Tagit technology allows us to engage with our customers beyond the brick and mortar functionalities of banking.”
