
Wallaby Card
Digital wallet and credit company, Wallaby Financial, has raised USD1.1 million round of funding from multiple investors (view press release). The primary investors are Founders Fund Angel and WI Harper Group with participation from SLP Ventures, Lion Wells Capital and angel investors including former Green Dot and financial services executives. The California-based company also received backing from MuckerLab.
Amongst the company’s products is the Wallaby Card, a cloud-based wallet designed to help consumers who hold multiple credit cards optimise their credit card rewards and benefits automatically. The card reviews customer’s current credit card and then direct spending on the Wallaby card to another card based upon on factors such as the type of transaction and limited time offers.
