Mobile traffic increase
The Share Centre, which allows users to buy, sell and monitor shares via a smartphone, has recorded a 67% increase in mobile traffic to its site in the period from 1st of January 2012 compared to the previous year. It claims that this demonstrates the increasing desire of customers to be able to deal on the go.
Research shows that 11.9% of consumers use their mobile phones to make online payments, an increase of around double from the previous year, and 20.4% of consumers use their mobiles to do their banking.
