P2P payments via online banking
PayPal is partnering with Polish financial institution, Alior Sync, to provide person-to-person payment services. According to reports, the deal will allow the bank’s customers to make person-to-person payments to anyone in around 60 countries directly from their online banking using the email address of the recipient. Following the partnership, the procedure will be streamlined for Alior Sync customers, as the required forms in PayPal systems will be automatically pre-filled with data imported from Alior Sync.
Alior Sync and PayPal also plans to introduce additional features which will enable the bank’s customers to deposit funds to PayPal account, as well as check PayPal balances, directly from their Alior Sync online banking.
