Mobile payments
The Isis SmartTap mobile commerce application is being integrated into MICROS Systems’ point of sale platform (view press release). Headquartered in Columbia, MICROS Systems provides information technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries. Through the deal, consumers will be able to make purchases, redeem offers and present loyalty cards via their smartphone. By integrating Isis SmartTap into the cloud-based MICROS Simphony POS platform, restaurant operators can engage patrons and build customer loyalty with ‘cutting-edge’ payment options. They will also be able to offer existing loyalty, offers and promotional programmes by utilising the Isis Mobile wallet, without additional infrastructure.
