
Bill shoppers’ credit card in 12 currencies
Online payment service provider, MOLPay, is launching its multi-currency processing platform for e-commerce merchants for the Southeast Asia region (view press release). The platform will enable merchants’ online store or e-commerce websites to bill shoppers’ credit cards in 12 currencies including US Dollar British Pound, Euro, Philippines Peso and Indian Rupee.
MOLPay’s platform comes with an Application Programming Interface (API) for integrating e-commerce websites. In addition, there is a payment plugin developed for merchants who are using open source shopping cart system such as OSCommerce, Zencart, Opencart, WordPress and Magento, so that the integration between the website and MOLPay can be done without knowing the programming language.
Real-time online reporting, fraud prevention and optimisation for mobile shopping are also key offerings by this platform.
