Telenor APIs available on Telefonica’s BlueVia platform
Telecom groups, Telenor and Telefonica have joined forces to make Telenor APIs available on Telefonica’s BlueVia platform, a shared API platform for building and marketing applications. The BlueVia platform will initially focus on mobile payments, enabling mobile customers to be charged for content and application purchases directly on their mobile phone bills.
“Telenor joins the BlueVia platform as an equal partner, and we extend an invitation to other global telcos to join us in this new way of working together,” said Rolv-Erik Spilling, SVP and deputy head Telenor Digital Services.
The companies plan to grow their offering to include other APIs that target different areas of the market.
