AT&T also renewed the contract for its Long Distance, Mobility and U-verse customers, allowing customers to pay their bills through walk-in bill payment locations.

The companies aim to assist the estimated 25% of US households which are unbanked or underbanked, of which nearly 77% pay at least one monthly bill in person.
