
SAIL
The SAIL mobile payments platform, created by VeriFone, has been selected by card issuer and acquirer, Isracard, for distribution in Israel (view press release). The company will roll out SAIL encrypted card reader for iOS and Android devices to merchants in the Middle Eastern country.
Isracard aims to offer a customised solution to a market with small businesses that currently do not accept credit cards, including its own credit card holders. With over 45% market share, Isracard will offer the solution to its own credit cards holders, SOHO merchants and individual professionals in Israel.
