
Pay rent using cash at7-Eleven or ACE Cash Express stores
Payment services provider, PayNearMe, is collaborating with AppFolio, a software developer to allow tenants to pay their rent using cash at7-Eleven or ACE Cash Express stores in the US. As part of the deal, PayNearMe will be integrated into the Property Manager software, where it will be offered alongside other options such as credit, debit, cheque or ACH.
The PayNearMe cash option will be made available through traditional paper billing, online billpay and mobile. Tenants will be required to take a unique barcode they receive to one of an around 8,200 supported 7-Eleven or ACE Cash Express stores, subsequently paying with cash at the register. The payment is then posted to the tenant’s account.
PayNearMe allows consumers to pay for goods and services from companies in e-commerce, consumer lending, debt collection, transportation and money transfer.
