First Data, a provider of electronic commerce and payment processing, is launching Rapid Connect, a new technology layer which aims to enable simplified integration into First Data’s services (view press release). Rapid Connect has been designed to provide software developers and direct-connect merchants with a streamlined way to create, test, certify and deliver payment-rich applications all through a single interface to enable customers to pay in a manner convenient to them.
Developers and First Data merchants who use the solution will provided with the development and testing tools needed to manage payment interfaces and self-certify.
