
New director of operations
MasterCard has announced the appointment of Irni Palar as its director of operations in Indonesia, effective immediately (view press release).
Ms. Palar joins MasterCard from PT Bank Mega, where she was Vice President, Head of Sales and Marketing in the Credit Card Division, and she will be responsible for all areas of MasterCard operations in Indonesia including providing direction and insight to achieve business targets in the region.
Matthew Driver, president, South East Asia, MasterCard Worldwide, said: “We are extremely excited to have Irni join our leadership team in Indonesia; she brings with her a wealth of experience in the banking and payments industry along with a clear understanding of local banking regulatory compliance.
