One of the main full-service banks in Qatar, Qatar International Service Bank (QIIB) has gone live with Misys Payment Manager; a payments solution service from Misys (view press release).
QIIB is using Misys Payment Manager to connect to Qatar’s Automated Clearing House (ACH) network which aims to link all banks in the country with the Qatar Central Bank to facilitate Direct Debit and Direct Credit payment transactions enabling banks to make payments via electronic transfer.
Ali Al-Mesaifi, Chief Operating Officer at QIIB, said: “Customer service is key to us remaining ahead of our competitors and at the forefront of the industry. With that as a continuing goal coupled with the challenge of complying with the local regulations, Misys’ solution offers a quick and low risk way to innovate our payments infrastructure.”
