
Multi-currency cards
Thomas Cook (India) Ltd, an integrated travel and travel-related financial services company, in collaboration with MasterCard Worldwide, has launched a ‘Borderless Prepaid Card’ which allows users to load up to eight currencies on a single card (view press release).
Features of the new service include instant loading, emergency cash disbursement and free replacement card in case stolen or lost and 24×7 global emergency assistance available via toll free access in over 80 countries.

Thomas Cook’s pioneering legacy as inventor of the travellers’ check in 1874 sees continuum in this historic launch of India’s first multi-currency travel card in the non-banking space.”
