EMV Level 1 Software Library and Reference design
Creditcall, provider of payment Processing Solutions, has launched EMV Level 1 Software Library and Reference design which will enable developers to create payment terminals up to 18 months faster and at lower costs than before.
Currently, only skilled developers and hardware engineers can design EMV Level 1 compliant (an industry standard) terminals, while developers use from a range smartcard interfaces to create a platform for terminals to communicate with cards. It is hoped that the new software library will enable developers to create reliable solutions.
According to Jeremy Gumbley, Chief Technology Officer , “Major reductions in terminal development time translate into substantial reductions in approval and test costs for customers.”
