
Partnering to boost card acceptance
Elavon, a global payment solutions provider, and payleven, a mobile payments services provider, are partnering to boost mobile and credit card acceptance by small and independent businesses in Europe (view press release). payleven’s solution turns smartphones and tablets into mobile debit and credit card processing terminals using its free software app plus a dongle. Elavon provides end-to-end payment processing services. The solution is currently running in Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland and the UK. payleven has also introduced a Chip and PIN reader across Europe.
