Ezetap bags USD 3.5 million in funding

Nabs USD 3.5m in funding

Ezetap, an India-based platform for mobile payments, has raised USD3.5m from a range of backers including seed-stage firm AngelPrime, reports StrategyEye. The funding will be used to bring its mobile plug-in reader to territories such as Asia and Africa, where there is no obvious leading competitor in the market. Ezetap mobile payment works with Apple’s iPhone and smartphones running on Google’s Android OS, but also works with feature phones such as the Nokia S40.
