At Vancouver Craft fairs
Square is now available in Canada, and will be the first official payment processor for artists and designers selling at Vancouver’s craft fairs this autumn (view press release). Square provides individuals and small businesses with free technology and tools to enable them to process payments. Square will be used at the following Vancouver markets: Circle Craft Christmas Market – East Cultural Centre, November 7-11; Make It! – Croatian Cultural Centre, November 8-11; Got Craft? – Croatian Cultural Centre, December 7-8.
“We’re thrilled to use Square in Canada. Typically Make It is a cash-only event due to the complexities and cost for accepting credit cards. Square makes it incredibly simple for merchants to accept all forms of payment with easy-to-use tools right on their phone,” said Jenna Herbut, co-founder of Make It.
