iZettle app now accepts payments from Visa cards
iZettle has exited its beta testing period in Denmark, Norway and Finland, restoring its ability to accept Visa payments again, reports StrategyEye.
Visa had temporarily withdrawn support for the European mobile payments firm over concerns about its user authentification process which resulted in iZettle not being able to take payments from Visa customers.
The iZettle app now accepts payments from Visa cards by bypassing the card reader. Instead, a secure website conforming to Visa standards allows users to exchange payment details.
