
PayLife will use Verifone’s QX 1000 devices to upgrade its machines
Electronic payments solutions providers Verifone, has been contracted by PayLife to update its POS systems to facilitate contactless and NFC transactions (view press release).
PayLife – a joint venture between some of Austria’s biggest banks, providing cashless payments solutions across the retail, oil, tourism and service industries- plans to replace current payment systems with new wireless and PIN acceptance devices.
It will use Verifone’s QX 1000 devices to provide immediate NFC/contactless upgrades to existing machines. The new service is also compliant with the latest PCI PTS 3.0, ZKA, EMV and Austrian security requirements.
VeriFone vice president and general manager, Central Europe Adam Biedrzycki said: “VeriFone systems will accommodate all the card types currently accepted today by PayLife and the mobile, digital wallets of tomorrow.”
