
Launching mobile app
JPMorgan Chase is launching a new mobile app that helps homebuyers from when they start looking for houses until they close on the mortgage (view press release).
Chase My New Home provides users with the opportunity to search and rate housing options based on personal criteria, record notes, photos and videos about the houses and calculate payments. They can also access over 3,700 local Chase mortgage bankers.
Kevin Watters, senior vice president and head of originations, Chase Mortgage Banking believes that as the housing market begins to recover, people are looking for new and innovative ways to buy homes. He said: “My New Home is an easy-to-use tool that helps individuals find the right home for them and connect with their local Chase mortgage banker.”
The new app can be downloaded from the App store or Google Play.
