Wallaby is launching an iPhone app that advises users which credit card will get them the best deals in different retail outlets. When consumers enter a store the app uses geo-location technology to establish where they are and automatically provides details on the best deals for users on things like cash-back, loyalty points and discounts.
To sign up to the app, which will be available in Android version by the end of the year, customers provide an email and password. It then acts as a cloud wallet after users have entered all of their credit cards. The launch of the new Wallaby service comes hot on the heels of a similar app launched by Glyph a few weeks ago.
