New mobile banking app
Ally Bank is extending its suite of products and features to include the second generation of Ally Mobile Banking apps, featuring Ally eCheck Deposit, Bill Pay, and fund transfers to and from external banking institutions (view press release).
The updated mobile banking app and mobile banking website (m.ally.com) offers customers all of the original features, including the ability to check balances, search transaction history, transfer money between Ally Bank accounts, see current call wait time, and find nearby ATMs and cash-back locations.
“Customers are looking for the easiest ways to access and manage their money. We’ve listened closely, and Ally Mobile Banking’s enhanced functionality now meets both their wants and needs,” said Diane Morais, deposits and product innovation executive. “Within the first six months of the initial Ally Mobile Banking rollout, we saw more than 167,000 app downloads and we anticipate even greater adoption with our second release.”
The latest app features 24/7 live customer service, ATM reimbursements, Ally Perks debit rewards and Popmoney person-to-person payment and mobile banking.
