Secured new funding
Modria has raised USD1.25m in seed funding from undisclosed backers. The small claims firm, a spin-out from eBay and Pay Pal, aims to resolve payment disputes using its automated Fairness Engine platform. The platform is designed to help companies save time and money over small claims.
The software may be automated, but if the disputes are not solved by the software then there is an arbitration stage where human operators can take over the exchange.
