Bank of America pilots V.me
Bank of America will be piloting Visa’s digital wallet service, V.me, to its online banking customers which will allow them to make secure online payments without having to enter information like their card number, and the service will work on websites of participating merchants.
According to David Godsman, Online and Mobile Solutions executive, Bank of America, “We believe our customers shouldn’t have to forgo security for convenience when using a digital wallet. V.me offers customers a greatly simplified and secure checkout process when shopping online without sharing their financial information.”
