Mobile wallet technology
According to a recent agreement, mobile payment solution provider Spindle’s mobile commerce platform will be bundled with solutions distributed through Integrated Payments, allowing merchants in the USA to accept mobile payments. Integrated Payments partner ZingCheckout, provider of web-based (SaaS) retail software, will be the first to accept Spindle-enabled mobile payment transactions at the Point of Sale.
Integrated Payments is a distributor of point of sale (POS) and mobile commerce technologies to merchants.
As part of this partnership, Spindle has become a preferred provider of mobile commerce technologies to Integrated Payments. According to Spindle president Bill Clark: “We’re delighted to join forces with Integrated Payments, which we anticipate will drive mobile payment integration among the company’s POS partners… Although many POS providers have mobile wallet technologies in use, very few have an application that works directly within the point of sale infrastructure. Our strategy has been to create a technology that empowers the merchant to utilize existing POS infrastructure to accept mobile payments. The partnership with Integrated Payments and ZingCheckout will allow us to do just that.”
