
New banking app
Farmers and Merchants Bank is launching a new mobile banking app as part of an initiative focused on enhancing its technology infrastructure (view press release). The bank has also rolled out a new generation of ‘smart’ ATMs and is offering a suite of new technology and security enhancements for business and retail customers.
FMB Mobile offers a range of features on its app, including: remote deposit of checks through image capture via a smartphone camera, viewing account balances, searching recent account activity, transferring funds between eligible accounts and finding the nearest ATM or branch location.
