ShopKeep raises USD 10m for iPad POS development

Used by 3,000 merchants

ShopKeep, which provides an iPad compatible point of sale (POS) system, has raised USD 10 million in a funding round led by Canaan Partners, with participation from Tribeca Venture Partners and TTV Capital.

ShopKeep is a New York-based startup that allows merchants to conduct transactions and manage inventory using an iPad application. The point of sale service integrates specialist iPad compatible cash registers and receipt printing hardware via an app. The company claims its service is currently used by 3,000 merchants, with the funding to be used for product development.
