Reports on e-invoicing
A new report examining the expanding e-invoicing and e-payables market has just been released by Research and Markets (view press release). The “B2B Networks: Still Trying to Solve the Paper Problem in Commercial Payments” report looks into the companies behind a number of the largest B2B networks, examining the functionality of each vendor’s solution to paper receipts.
The report reveals the possible B2B networks that companies may choose from when wishing to convert their purchase orders, invoices, and payments to electronic formats, and also examines the many barriers that vendors must overcome to make sure their solution works for both buyers and suppliers.
“The cloud is the new channel for B2B communications and payments. The architectural efficiencies of B2B networks is reducing the costs of financial supply chain automation and provides a compelling business case for implementing procure-to-pay and order-to-cash solutions,” said Michael Misasi, Research Analyst at Mercator Advisory Group and author of the report.
