Allows users to share purchases
Online purchase directory Mine has raised USD600,000 from Harrison Metal Capital as it launches its mobile app and website. The startup allows users to share their online and offline purchase details with friends also using the service via an email importer or manually. Users can then search through the listings and click on their friends’ purchases to get more information and get a link to make a purchase.
“We already rely on people we know for so many of our purchasing decisions, whether it’s books, music, fashion, homeware or electronics,” says Mine CEO Pierre Legrain. “Mine turbo-charges this behaviour.”
