Expansion into international marketplace
The US-based technology provider Virtual Piggy today announced that it has entered into a Strategic Partnership with WorldPay. This move facilitates further expansion of the Virtual Piggy eCommerce service in the international marketplace.
Virtual Piggy allows parents to set up a monthly allowance for their children and promote financial management. At the same time it allows youths under 21 to make purchasing, saving and other money management decisions for themselves, within the boundaries set up by parents. Virtual Piggy has been designed to support transactions in over 100 different currencies since its inception.
WorldPay operates in more than 40 countries, 120 transaction currencies and 14 settlement currencies. WorldPay also supports more than 200 alternative payment solutions to e-commerce merchants worldwide.
