Fraud reduction benefits
The online identification verification company miiCard has launched DirectID Check, a hosted identity service for SMB’s requiring identity proofing of clients. The cloud based solution allows businesses to verify customer identities when offering a service and does not require API integration.
“Online identity verification enables a greater numbers of professionals and businesses to extend legal, medical and other services online that previously required customers to visit physical locations or send in documents to prove their identity,” said miiCard CEO James Varga. “However, we recognize many of these businesses do not have the platform or resources to integrate through the miiCard API. DirectID Check removes these roadblocks so that any business can realise the cost saving and fraud reduction benefits of miiCard.”
