Has added Openbuck to its payment platform
Livegamer has announced that Openbuck has been added to its platform to expand prepaid payment options for online gaming consumers across the US and Canada. Openbucks has partnered with retailers, such as Subway, Burger King and Shell to provide an online payment alternative to customers who don’t have or prefer not to use credit or debit cards when buying online. Consumers can use the gift cards of participating retailers, found at over 100,000 locations, to buy and pay at over 1000 online games.
“We’re committed to delivering the easiest most accessible monetisation solutions to our video game consumers around the world”, said Andrew Schneider, president and co-founder of LiveGamer.
“Openbucks enables online games to increase their conversion rates and monetise consumers who they did not have access to before”, said Marc Rochman, CEO and founder of Openbucks. “Partnering with Live Gamer is an important step to make the gift card payment option available to many great titles and millions of additional users”.
