Swish is its to launch a mobile point of sale (mPOS) solution to the Hong Kong market that will enable any size business to accept credit card payments.
This new mobile payment technology will offer merchants the freedom to use their smartphones to process credit card payments from virtually any location. At the launch event this past Monday, Swish CEO Steven Murray announced that they will be deploying a controlled roll-out into Hong Kong in partnership with Dah Sing Bank in early 2013.
Murray said, “We believe that Swish will open many new doors for businesses by empowering them to become more competitive and giving them the freedom to do business when and where they want. We’re excited to be a part of this movement and look forward to bringing mobile payment technology to the masses.”
The fully certified Swish card reader has the capacity to read both magnetic stripe and chip cards; a feature which makes it a world first in low cost mobile payment technology. It will initially only be available on a number of Apple devices with plans to expand to tablets.
The app facilitates credit card payments from beginning to end, including the collection of digital signatures and sending of electronic receipts.Businesses such as delivery services, vendors and trades people can now easily accept credit card payments, allowing them to significantly increase their sales revenue.
