CTIA – The Wireless Association has launched two helpful pamphlets available in English and Spanish containing tips on how users can protect their personal information when making transactions or donating their devices.
The first pamphlet, ‘Using Your Mobile Wallet?’ which can be downloaded here, contains eight steps for consumers to follow to ensure complete security when making payments or using mobile devices for banking.
The second pamphlet, “How to Erase Your Info Before You Donate or Recycle Your Cellphone,” which can be downloaded here, contains eight steps outlining how personal information can be removed from mobile devices.
