New app
Xoom Corporation a digital money transfer provider, has announced its free Xoom Money Transfer App is now available in Spanish for Android and iOS devices. Xoom launched its free App in English on June 18, providing a fast and simple method for on-the-go Xoom customers to send money to loved ones.
Xoom is the first pure-play remittance provider to offer a Spanish-language App for Android and iOS phones.
The solution allows Xoom customers to complete a quick send money transfer to their recipient with a “one tap and one swipe” manner. This slide-to-send technique allows Xoomcustomers to send a money transfer to an existing recipient in just seconds.
“Xoom’s customers continue to make mobile a main channel for sending money to Latin America,” said Joe Raymond, Xoom’s Vice President of Product. “The new Spanish-language App is a small part of our commitment to make money transfers easy and trustworthy for everyone.”
Xoom offers customers a Spanish-language experience on their mobile App, their desktop and mobile sites and their 24-hour customer care center.
In addition to fast and simple money transfers on the go, Xoom customers can use the App to track the status of their money transfer as their money moves to their loved ones. Other key features of the Xoom App include the ability to review Xoom’s low fees, check exchange rates, contact customer service and access links to other Xoom services.
The Xoom App can be downloaded from the Apple AppStore at http://xoom.io/pr-iPhone and Google Play at http://xoom.io/pr-Android.
