
New acquisition
Mobile payments firm Monitise is buying mobile design agency Grapplefor GBP39m (USD60.8m). Grapple, which was launched in 2010, works with brands such as Sky and B&Q to produce digital products for smartphones and tablets.
The UK-based company has been rebranded as Monitise Create and will form part of its specialist department, focusing on designing and developing digital strategies and user experience.
