
Mercury Payment Systems LLC, a payment technology and service provider for small to medium-sized businesses, has announced the appointment of Andrew Patterson to the position of Chief Technology Officer.
In his new role, Patterson will be responsible for software engineering, technology infrastructure, business intelligence, quality assurance, and architecture for the organization. Patterson has over a decade of technology and management experience, and he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role of CTO at Mercury.
Patterson used to be the vice president of payments software and emerging products for Moneris Solutions Inc., where he led a number of key technology initiatives, including the design and development of many of their products and processing systems.
