Alpha Payments Cloud and China Union Pay have announced that Alpha Payments Cloud are now certified as a TPSP (Technical Payment Service Provider).
This important certification will give APCs International Banks and Merchants access to China Union Pay’s network of UnionPay cards. Now gateways, banks and merchants can integrate to APC to receive instant access to CUP, along with any and every other payments solution they require via one simple integration.
“China UnionPay acceptance is becoming increasingly critical in the online world,” commented Rónán Gallagher, Head of Product with Alpha Payments Cloud. “Through our certification, APC will enable our network of partner banks and their merchants to gain access to a large customer base of China UnionPay cardholders who wish to transact online with international merchants. It is our goal for all parties in the payments ecosystem to look at us as the first logical step to integrate and gain access to any and every product they need, as such CUP certification was a necessary and logical addition.”
