CHARGE Anywhere has announced that its mPOS solutions have been approved by the Visa Ready Programme.
The Visa Ready Partner Programme for mPOS is set out to help device manufacturers, application developers, merchants and acquirers to build and implement a reliable, convenient, and secure mobile point of sale experience.
CHARGE Anywhere’s mobile solutions feature a PCI-validated secure mobile payment application, point-to-point encryption, and payment gateway services. CHARGE Anywhere’s mobile payment application with Chip & PIN and magnetic stripe transaction capture meet Visa’s requirements.
“We are pleased to be the first U.S.-based company with an EMV mobile application to be a certified member of the Visa Ready program,” said Paul Sabella, CHARGE Anywhere’s CEO. “CHARGE Anywhere was one of the first companies to develop mobile payment technology, and security has always been paramount to us. Inclusion in the Visa Ready program is the latest certification that attests to the high level of security delivered by our P2PE, PCI-compliant solutions.”
