Resort management company, AMResorts, has partnered with Worldpay, as its business continues to grow.
AMResorts, a subsidiary of Apple Leisure Group and provider of sales, marketing and brand management services for Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts, and Secrets, Breathless, Dreams, Now, Sunscape and Resorts & Spa, reported a 23.2% percent revenue gain in 2013. The steady company growth was fuelled by a combination of strategic moves that include the introduction of its sixth brand (Breathless Resorts & Spas) at the end of 2013, and entry into new destinations.
To meet the needs of its growing global customer base, AMResorts has chosen to work with Worldpay for its payment services. AMResorts uses Worldpay’s payment gateway, acquiring and risk management services.
Alejandro Zubieta, Senior Director, Revenue Management & Distribution, AMResorts, says: “Worldpay’s all-encompassing suite of products is impressive and as our company grows we need on-the-ground expertise to help us expand into new markets. Worldpay’s local payment knowledge is unparalleled.”
Thomas Helldorff, VP Travel at Worldpay, says: “International payments can be complex which is why it’s important to have a payments partner who really understands the landscape. With more than 200 payments methods available around the world, we’re a natural fit for AMResorts as the company continues its spectacular growth, and we’re delighted to be on board.”
