i-design has announced it has hired Paul Gardiner to join their senior management team.
Paul Gardiner has over 15 years of expertise in the self-service industry and will join i-design as Head of Operations & Technology. Before joining i-design Gardiner was part of consultancy company Exception. At Exception Gardiner led the Test and QA Professional Services supporting complex Payments and ATM modernisation projects for major retail banks on a consultative basis.
Gardiner’s role will be to boost i-design’s senior management team and be responsible for product management, development, testing and delivery strategy of the company’s full software suite. This will include the flagship product Joono, a software based self-service solution that enables targeted marketing and personalised customer engagement on ATMs.
i-design Managing Director, Ana Stewart, said: “Paul’s appointment will advance our product development capabilities, and marks the strength of home-grown talent on offer. This newly found role, coupled with Paul’s expertise, will enable us to continue to develop our products and provide customers with cutting edge choices.”
