Virtual Affairs allows payments via Facebook

Virtual Affairs is launching its digital banking platform BankingRight, which allows customers to make payments via Facebook.

Virtual Affairs will unveil the platform at the Sitecore Symposium Barcelona tomorrow. Its most interesting functionality allows customers to transfer money using someone’s Facebook account or mobile phone number, without having to know the IBAN bank account number.

BankingRight is a retail and personal banking solution for banks that want to modernize their front and mid-office operations, or launch a new challenger brand. It leverages insights from initial customer onboarding and supports complete digital personal and self-service and advice. BankingRight is an out-of-the-box software solution that integrates with legacy back-end systems. BankingRight supports both responsive web deployments and (native) mobile and tablet apps.

“This shows that BankingRight goes beyond simply digitizing a bank’s existing services— it changes the way banks engage with their customers,” said Sijbrand Tieleman, CEO at Virtual Affairs.
