The Chief Executive of electronic money system Ukash David Hunter has joined the advisory board of the Emerging Payments Association.
The EPA, an organisation set up to help shape the future of emerging payments, is currently working to create a global hotspot for payments innovation in the UK. In order to do so, the association is attempting to ensure an innovation-friendly regulatory regime in the UK, as well as to enable direct access to clearing and settlement at the Bank of England.
“Ukash is continually innovating to deliver payments solutions that empower social inclusion in the global economy,” Hunter said. “I am, therefore, looking forward to bringing our philosophy to the EPA Advisory Board, where I am sure we will identify the opportunities to improve the customer experience as the payments landscape responds to the changing dynamics of the consumer marketplace.”
