
The impact of disruptive technologies, digital currency and mobile payments on banking and retail, as well as the latest in FinTech innovation will be among the topics attracting more than 2,000 delegates to PayExpo 2015.
The event, taking place on the 9th and 10th of June at ExCel London, will feature five conferences: The Future of Payments Summit, Mobile Money Europe, Merchant Payments, Prepaid Gifting & Loyalty and the new Payments Security & Authentication, plus a new Cryptocurrency and Payments Workshop.
Among those presenting are Richard Tallboy, Director of Business Development at Wagamama and Jennifer Macrae, Vice President, Global Strategy & Business Development, Digital at Mastercard, speaking together for the first time about their new payments app QkR!.
Rob Harper, Director, Mobile Commerce at PayPal UK will detail an extensive digital payments strategy for maximum market share. Terry Cordeiro, Head of Proposition Development – Digital, Transformation at Lloyds Bank, will explain how a traditional bank is innovating for the future of digital payments; and Iliaria Presotto, Head of Business Development at Illy Café will demonstrate how to effectively match payment channel with consumer for customer retention.
Mark Falcon, Head of Regulatory Policy and Strategy at the newly active Payment Systems Regulator, will give the opening Keynote address.
More than 50 leading service providers will be showcasing the latest payments technologies, while the Payments Dragons’ Den will give FinTech start-ups an opportunity to pitch their game-changing ideas live to experts and investors. The Payments Accelerator will showcase promising up-and-coming FinTech start-ups, connecting them with potential partners and accelerator programmes.
Additionally the Payments Power 10 celebrates the top contributors to the payments industry, as voted for by the global payment audience, and there is the brand new Payments Punch Up in partnership with the Emerging Payments Association, in which internationally-recognised thought leaders will debate some of the most controversial topics in payments, taking opposing sides live on stage.
