From rings and smart watches to mugs and fitness trackers, providers have been inserting contactless solutions into all manner of items as they attempt to capture the consumer’s imagination.
Last year, Barclaycard teamed up with fashion retailer Guess, merging fashion with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology.
