ATMIA elects new Executive Committee

New U.S. regional board and committee co-chairs also announced at annual conference

ATMIA (the ATM Industry Association) concluded a highly successful U.S. annual conference and expo last week in Las Vegas.  The event has grown to be the largest in the country, drawing over 1,100 delegates from all sectors of the ATM industry.

In conjunction with the conference, ATMIA’s Board of Directors held an in-person meeting, which included the election of a new Executive Committee that will serve for a three-year term, as provided for in the association’s by-laws:

  • President
    • John J. Leehy III, Payment Alliance International Inc.
  • Deputy President
    • Jeff Matthews, Grant Victor Companies
  • Chairman
    • Peter Kulik, Citibank
  • Finance Officer
    • Sandra Hartfield-Papie, Monex
  •  CEO
    • Michael Lee, ATMIA

“I would like to congratulate these newly elected Executive Officers and wish them well for their term of office. It is a huge privilege to serve alongside such respected industry leaders,” Mike Lee commented.

“At the same time, I wish to thank retiring officers of the previous Executive Committee for sterling service to the industry and the association during the period of 2015-2018; namely Mr. Chris Chandler as President, Mr. Kurt Helwig as Chairman and Mr. Brian Kett as Deputy Chairman.”

A number of ATMIA U.S. committee groups also announced the election of new co-chairs last week.  Serving terms of two years, those new co-chairs are:

  • U.S. Regional Board
    • Elizabeth Bohlen, Evolve Bank & Trust
    • Donna Embry, Payment Alliance International
  • U.S. Government Relations Committee
    • Jack Ford, Jack Milford Ford Law
    • Brad Moody, Lowers Risk Group
  • Independent ATM Deployers Committee
    • Jeff Hayes, Edge One
    • Jason Zubik, Elan Financial Services

“The opportunity to participate in regional committee groups is one of the most valuable benefits of ATMIA membership,” says ATMIA USA Executive Director, David Tente.  “They provide a non-competitive environment to network with peers, discuss important issues, and learn about new industry developments.  And without the willingness of our members to volunteer their time and expertise to lead these groups, none of it would be possible.”

Information about the many regional and global committee groups is available on the ATMIA website.  Members can select committee preferences by logging in to their account and clicking on the ‘My committees’ link.
