Invapay Appoints Asia Pacific Commercial Director

3 September 2015 – Invapay today announced that Shawn Damon, formerly of Kofax, will join the company as the Commercial Director for Asia Pacific. Invapay is a cloud based payment company which helps organisations optimise its procurement and cash management strategies. The appointment of Damon comes at a time when Invapay has expanded rapidly into APAC and the Middle East.

Sid Vasili, CEO of Invapay, commented:

“Shawn’s appointment will help us to continue our development in the Asia Pacific region. He has an outstanding background in IT and process optimisation and will help our clients maximise the opportunity to improve their working capital management.”

Invapay has seen increasing usage of its technology by large and mid-sized corporate and government organisations. The company creates an efficient procurement and payment ecosystem which helps CFOs gain greater control over purchasing requirements. The solution can be rapidly deployed with minimal disruption to all businesses. It features automated invoice reconciliation, full transactional detail to maximise tax reclaim, scheme or closed loop payment facilities and a cash and credit management capability.

Shawn explains the reasons for his decision to join Invapay:

“I met Sid Vasili whilst we were working on a joint venture with VISA. Invapay are amongst a new breed of fintech companies which are changing the way businesses operate. My main focus will be to oversee the development in the APAC region. I’ll be working with companies to develop their management of working capital, supplier management and payment processing.  We can implement new ways of working which accelerates payments to suppliers whilst boosting working capital of the buyer. For those using commercial cards, we can guarantee payment to suppliers who can’t traditionally accept this payment mechanism.”

Invapay believes traditional ways of working with suppliers is outdated and organisations can access major benefits by adapting their supplier and payment model.
